And to lift up your spirits in a rainy, grey day like this, you only have to remind yourself it’s Friiiiday and appreciate, once again, the little things of daily life that make you happy. Here we go.

My lovely notebook, a gift from Paula :), where I write down summaries or things to bare in mind for the exam I’m studying. It’s helpful and motivates me. I absolutely love it.

El ritual del té mañanero. Desde que volví de mis vacaciones en España, con mi súper taza, regalo de Carolina. Pienso en la rubia, me pone de bueno humor y me activa el cerebro empanado.

The Tea Ritual every morning. Since I came back from my holiday in Spain, with my super mug, Carolina’s gift. I think of her, it puts me in a good mood and activates my sleepy brain.

             

Las plantas en el jardín. Se ha vuelto una costumbre salir afuera o desde la ventana y seguir su crecimiento cada mañana. Bonitos tomates, bonita berenjena, más bonitas aún las flores. Lo que no sale, ni bonito ni feo, son los calabacines. 😦

The plants in the garden. It’s become a habit to catch up with their growth every morning. Nice tomatoes, nice aubergine, nicer flowers. We are having some problems with the courgettes, though. 😦

Comer, estudiar o leer en el patio. Cuando los rayitos de sol se atreven a salir, detrás de tanta nube, sienta de MARAVILLA.

To eat, study or just read in the backyard. When the rays of the weak sun want to please us through all those clouds, it just feels GOOD, VERY GOOD.
