I can not say my host family is not nice. In fact, they are the nicest family ever.
Imagine how nice are they that when you get home after a hard day they say at least three times ‘Hi’.
“Hi, Steve. Hi… Hi… Steve… Hi. Hi…”
I’ve been thinking that it could be a pathological need to welcome you but that would be too simple. And creepy.
If I go further with my thoughts I come up with a better idea. They have the need to start a conversation. No matter how. Without success though.
So the think is they don’t know how to strike up a conversation with their own husband/wife or break the ice with their employees (us). Completely fine and understandable.
If you don’t have anything to say, why would you start talking? Or even worse, if you have something intelligent and suitable to say, why don’t you just say it?
It is annoying but, to be honest, me and my mate die laughing when they don’t see us.
Such a complicated thing life together is!
And if you think this picture has nothing to do with the topic, think twice.
Si ya lo dicen “Si lo que tienes que decir no es mejor que el silencio mejor quédate callado”. Muy buen post! So true jajaja, yo sigo riéndome cada vez que lo recuerdo…hello!!…hello!, hello? hello
