Growing up in Girona makes the Costa Brava the paradise where my holidays used to take place.
Following the suggestions of my sister in law, yesterday I discovered two new cales or small bays in Platja d’Aro.
I have always avoid going to Platja d’Aro because it’s a long beach, always packed, where one finds difficult to lay out a towel.
Instead, the strategic location of these two beaches , behind a hotel, preserve them from crowds and keep them, even though they are quite full, quiter than the big ones.
Cliffs, pines, cold and rough (brava) waters, hence the name.
When you’ve swum enough, feel the salt on your smooth skin while enjoying the view.
